I finally got around to AI work! Mostly player follow stuff and outside town activities.
Also in this sprint - Player animations when digging and picking up story line relevant items.
Planting trees in only in areas where holes have been dug.
I've also been looking at the 3D portfolios I've been sent. Some really great stuff in there! Expect to see some cool stuff soon.
I used a chain of interconnected spring arms with rotation lag and static meshs to get the follow action working correctly.
In the game the movement speed is what decides if the floofs can keep up with you. That's going to change over time! It also forced me to fix the janky animations.
